Personal Profile
As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pivotal Connections, LLC, I use and share my diverse lifelong experiences – as a business leader, military veteran, military spouse, and parent – to prepare, inspire, value, optimize, and transform (or PIVOT) current and aspiring leaders.
As a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member (MLCT), I also use an array of learning systems and tools developed by world-renowned leadership expert, John C. Maxwell. These resources, coupled with my lifelong experiences, equip me to provide exceptional needs-based and life-changing experiences for adults, youth, parents, and families who are committed to personal and professional growth.
Aligned with my passion for serving the community, I practice servant leadership holistically by volunteering my time and other resources to multiple nonprofit agencies, private organizations, and ministries that provide food, medicine, education, and inspiration to others.

Finally, I am committed to lifelong learning. In addition to attaining multiple MLCT certifications, I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN.

Using John C. Maxwell's book of the same title as a reference, this course teaches teens how to build character traits and how to apply the qualities in their everyday interactions. They will also learn to take responsibility for themselves and their actions, express themselves, and handle problems and decisions when they arise.
In this interactive training, middle school students are encouraged to identify and appreciate their own unique qualities as well as the uniqueness of others. Participants will leave this training equipped with reinforcement techniques and methods that promote a positive self-image.
This course will cover 5 principles and 5 practices outlined by John Maxwell and can help anyone connect better 1:1, in a group, or even with an audience. Students who complete this course successfully will be able to develop the 5 connection principles and practices:

This game is based on the teachings of John C. Maxwell, internationally recognized leadership expert. It is designed to help teenagers recognize their ability to lead, improve their self-esteem, and learn how to serve and add value to others daily.
Every young person has a unique style of learning and growing that is impacted by their personality. The Maxwell DISC assessment will help youth identify their specific personality and learn ways to maximize their natural strengths to add value to others.
